Fifty percent of the remaining balance is due within 60 days from acceptance or 10 days after the application is accepted (if applying after the deadline).  The final balance and payment is due on or before March 15, 2012.

Global Players accepts checks, money orders, cashier's checks, money transfers and credit cards through PayPal. Please ensure the correct amounts are included.

Personal Conduct

As a Global Players participant, you will be held to a very high standard on and off the field, hence a phone interview and series of recommendations will be considered during the application process. Bear in mind before applying, that the program is designed to  be fun, challenging, and to maximize cultural immersion BUT we are responsible for your safety!! We are not there to dominate the playing field, but rather to level the playing field by inviting international players to join our team. We are not there to be exclusive, but inclusive. Our mission at Global Players is to give you the opportunity of a lifetime. Participants must conduct themselves in a safe and prudent manner while participating in any activity or travel conducted by or under the auspices of Student Athlete Exchange, LLC.

Drug and Alcohol Policy

Global Players prohibits the unlawful possession, use or distribution of illicit drugs as determined by respective country regulations. Abuse and over-consumption of alcohol will not be tolerated  especially when behavior risks the reputation of yourself and the program. Any participant unable to perform necessary program responsibilities at a high standard due to the overuse of drugs or alcohol are grounds for disciplinary action or even immediate dismissal at the discretion of the Global Players Leadership Team.

Insurance Coverage

Medical insurance is covered under your program fees through Cultural Insurance Services International (CISI). CISI offers a policy which covers all treatment with reimbursement for medical expenses including medication, fully automated claim payment system, air evacuation in the event of serious injury, and US$10,000 life insurance payment to a selected beneficiary in the event of death.  Insurance is a necessary precaution, so we exercise due diligence to make sure you are covered. We also recommend obtaining travel insurance on your own to help cover you throughout your trip. Please review our Link Library for more information about travel insurance options.
