Do you know Prague?

Academics

The Global Players in Prague program brings student athletes to Prague to study and intern while pursuing athletic training and competition. Our partner, CET Academic Programs, oversees the academics, housing, and excursions, while Global Players provides the specialized athletic programming designed by athletes for athletes. Whether you are touring Prague Castle, taking a summer cruise down Vltava river, or interning at a Czech company, this program is an opportunity to learn both in and out of the classroom.

Courses & Credits

Step One. Pick a track!

Track 1: Internship

Pursue an internship and gain the international work experience that will make your resume or grad school application stand out from the crowd. We’ll help find a placement that fits your interests. You'll gain invaluable insight into the Czech market by working closely with both Czech and multi-national companies. You’ll leave with both the substantive experience and adaptability that hiring managers seek..

Track 2: Study Abroad

Take a well-balanced curriculum that lets you explore Prague from all angles—its business, its history, its art. Your core course is International Management. Then, you choose one of the following:

  • Czech Art & Architecture: From the Middle Ages to the 21st Century
  • Nationalism, Minorities & Migrations in Europe

Courses get you out of the classroom and into the city. Maybe you’ll learn about Cubist architecture on a walking tour of the city.  Maybe you’ll learn about business management by having a Q&A with a local business leader.

You can find our Courses and Syllabi here.

All students are required to complete a Home Institution Approval Form to ensure your university will accept credits issued through this program. It is recommended that all offerings are approved in the event that one or more do not meet enrollment requirements.  Students receive a jointly issued transcript from our Academic Partner CET and Charles University in Prague.  More about our Partners.
